Calming the Storm: Don’t You Care If We Drown?

Passage: Mark 4:35-41

Lord, don't you care if we drown? Perhaps life gives you a sense of sinking at the moment, or you've faced these feelings before. Have you found yourself saying something along the lines of "Don't you care if I drown"? Or have you given up thinking that God actually can or wishes to help you in your distress?

Jesus has a strong word for the disciples who woke him up in the boat in the middle of the storm on Lake Galilee, but it wasn't the interrupted slumber that distressed him...

  1. I’m very sorry that people have lost their faith. Why is this so ? Peer pressure? Materialism ? Too much for self and no sharing. ? Lack of care. ? Leadership problems ? People will walk with their feet. ? Why. ? I praise God that we have families with young kids, teenagers and grandparents all apart of our congregation. Or have I misunderstood what your title was referring to ? If so I apologise. As I did not read further than the initial article.
